Rose founded Rose Keith Law Corporation in 1996. The guiding principle for Rose, which she instills in all who work at the office, is that the job of the legal team is to find the right legal solution for the client, and that in doing so nothing is more important than being respectful, compassionate and responsive.
Rose grew up in a small farming community in Saskatchewan and the core values of hard work and community that she learned from a young age have stayed with her throughout her years of practicing law. Rose has gained extensive experience in the over 20 years that she has been practicing law. She is a skilled trial lawyer with experience in a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters. She has had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of innumerable clients over the years, clients that have suffered devastating and life changing injuries through the fault of another or who have had their livelihood and ability to work compromised due to the actions of another.
Rose brings compassion, passion and collaboration to her representation of clients. She is passionate about protecting the rights of her clients and works hard to ensure that clients expectations are exceeded. She works closely with her team of carefully chosen support staff to ensure that clients are provided with the caring and supportive representation that they deserve.
Rose is a recognized leader in the legal profession, particularly amongst trial lawyers. She is a past President of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. She is a frequent and sought after speaker at continuing legal education events put on by a variety of professional organizations. Rose continues to give back to the profession acting as a mentor to less experienced lawyers, sitting on the Law Society’s Competency committee, serving as a delegate to the American Association for Justice and as a representative to the Judicial Advisory Committee. In addition to these roles Rose is currently the Secretary of the Women’s Lawyer’s Forum, the Secretary of the Canadian Bar Association’s Automobile Insurance Committee and a member of the advisory board for Civil Jury Instructions.
Rose lends her advocacy skills and experience to a variety of non legal associations as well. Her volunteer activities include organizations such as Lupus Canada, Athletics 4 Kids and the Women in Leadership Foundation. Her current volunteer activities include sitting on the Board of the BC Lupus Society, sitting on the organizing committee for the Ovarian Cancer Canada Gala, serving as manager for her daughter’s field hockey team and being a volunteer member of the Hollyburn Swim Team Committee. Outside of her professional and volunteer activities, Rose is active in the lives of her two young children and her husband and can regularly be seen on the ski slopes, the mountain bike trails and on her road bike. Rose’s English pointer Kody is a regular visitor at the office, giving her cat Harry free run of the house for the day.
